Izzy had her 4 month check-up yesterday. She weighs in at 13lbs 14oz and is 24 inches long. She is very healthy and ready to try some solids. We are starting with oatmeal this weekend and working our way up to fruits and veggies. She was the happiest little baby during her exam and played with her toes while waiting for the doctor. She had to get 2 shots and screamed her little head off. I had to go in a room and feed her to calm her down. The doctor said her head is still a little flat but will round itself out as she's sitting upright more. She is doing so great and is so happy and well-adjusted. She sleeps well, eats well, giggles and coos most of her wake time. We couldn't ask for a better baby and can't wait to see what she'll be doing next.

London's First School Picture Day
London had his first picture day at preschool and we wanted to be sure he looked good. We found him a super cute vest and bowtie at target and he was pretty pumped to be all dressed up. He was the talk of the daycare and his teacher said he was extra mellow and well-behaved being so well dressed. His teacher said he did ok with the photographer and she thinks they got a few good shots. We'll have to see how they turned out. I made sure to snap a few myself when I went to pick him up.
2 Months Later....
So life has been incredibly busy since I returned to work and it has been almost 2 months since I have written a post. My schedule is very busy and strict so there isn't a whole lot of time to blog. I like to spend most of my free time with London and Izzy and I'm usually done with the computer after a few hours of lesson planning.
Work is going great. I am really happy at my job and that is what keeps me sane being away from my kids. Of course, there is a lot of work, stress, and I sacrifice a lot (for a small paycheck) but being happy at your job is priceless.
London is in preschool and although we had a few rough drop-offs he is doing fantastic. He is learning so many great social skills. He cleans up after himself, waits his turn, shares, and has matured so much since attending school. He talks about his friends all the time and loves his teacher. She calls him an old soul and adores him. I think he is her favorite :-) He was already super bright but is learning even more now and we couldn't be more proud. He is such a little person now, it's crazy.
Kary is doing great at work and is such a huge help. We both sacrifice so much for our little ones and have maybe 15min (if any) to ourselves a day. We try to enjoy them and each other as much as possible. He still makes me dinner every night ;-) I'm so spoiled. So, life is good and I have committed to promising myself to write a post every Sunday. Here are some pictures narrating what we've been up to for the past 2 months. In no particular order...
